Here's an excerpt from the book:
The Shrimp Family Feeds the Fish at the Spillway
One day, the Shrimp Family went to the spillway to feed the fish and the ducks.
Everybody stood on the edge of the lake and threw bread to the fish and ducks. There were many, many fish in the lake at the spillway. There were so many fish that the ducks walked on the fishes’ backs to get to the bread.
Mama and Papa bought two bags of bread. One bag was for Molly and one was for Harper to feed the fish. There was a big railing between the people and the lake. Mama picked up Molly and Papa picked up Harper so they could reach over the railing to throw their bread to the fish.

Tales From Shrimps is beautifully illustrated in whimsical watercolors. It is easy to read to children, capturing the attention of even very young children. The Tales include activities that are familiar to children. It also introduces some fun out-of-the-ordinary adventures that will appeal to children's imagination.
"Kids (and parents) will love the wide-eyed adventures of the Shrimp family. You'll love reading the Shrimp family's tales to your favorite shrimps!" - Brian Butko, Author of Roadside Attractions, Greetings from the Lincoln Highway, and Diners of Pennsylvania
